Judith Johnston

Judith Richardson Johnston, 94, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Friday, December 21, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, A. Langstaff Johnston III. She was born in Reading, Pennsylvania, September 26th, 1924, daughter of Gordon and Violet Richardson. She is survived by her six children, Linda, Lang, Betsy, Gordon, Scott and Billy. She has 20 beloved grandchildren and 7 great- grandchildren. She was an active member of Colonial Heights Presbyterian Church for many years. Judith was a veteran of the United States Military during WWII. She served in the WAVES in New York City. She enjoyed vacationing at the Outer Banks with her family, took up painting in her 80's, and was an active member of her community with many friends. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 at Colonial Heights Presbyterian Church on Saturday, December 29th with pastor Charles Grant officiating. Interment will be private.
