Judith Payne

Judith Gaye Payne, 67, of Chester, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2014 at Retreat Hospital. Born in Wise County, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Mabel Adams Miller, and was preceded in death by two siblings, Billie Joyce Tankersley and Roger Miller. She is survived by her husband, of 49 years, Gerald S. Payne; her children, Alan Payne, Genene Banty and husband, David, and Mark Payne; grandchildren, Ashley Crist and husband, Matthew, Samantha Mingloski, Emma, Brooke and David Banty; great-grandchild, Maryn Crist; siblings, Donald Miller and wife Patricia, Ronald Miller and wife, Nancy, Albert R. Miller, Johnny Ray Miller and wife, Denise, Jackie Miller and Janice Miller; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 27, 2014 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
