Julia Smith

Julia Love Smith, 91, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2015. She was the daughter of the late John H. and Geneva Cobb Joyner. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Smith; two brothers and three sisters. Mrs. Smith retired from Brown & Williamson Tobacco Company with 37 years of service. She loved bingo, gardening, and travelling. She is survived by her children, Milton Love Jr. (Sherry) and Terry Love Smith (Danny); five grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 10, 2015 at Southlawn Memorial Park, 1911 Birdsong Road, S. Prince George, Virginia 23805 with the Reverend David Prather officiating. The family will receive friends from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, August 9, 2015 at E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834.
