June Bucy

June Bucy, 75, of Colonial Heights passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2024. Born August15, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mona Pristosh.

June spent her life working various retail jobs, where she made friends out of coworkers and customers alike.

In her free time, June found happiness in the small things. She loved coloring, filling each page with the colors that reflected her bright personality. She could often be found unwinding in front of the TV, enjoying her favorite shows. An avid supporter of the Washington Redskins, she cheered them on through every victory and loss, always loyal to her team. June also had a soft spot for motorcycles, whether riding or admiring, the rumble of an engine always brought a spark to her spirit.

She is survived by five children, Raymond Earl Bucy, Jr. and wife, Amy Marie, Monaca Sue Millican and partner, M.J., David Joseph Bucy, Troy Adam Bucy, Sr., Jenni Rose; 12 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; sister, Susan Carradine; and other extended family members.

Interment will be private. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Colonial Heights Fire and EMS, 100 Highland Ave # B, Colonial Heights, VA 23834.
