June Menzies Guldenschuh, 90, of Prince George, Virginia passed away on August 19, 2016. Born on December 7, 1925, in Endicott, New York, she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Nettie (Scharf) Menzies, and was also preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Rev. Edward Guldenschuh; and her brother, Ralph Menzies. She was a graduate of Union-Endicott High School, and worked during her early adult years as a secretary at ldeal Hospital in Endicott. June was a devoted mother and homemaker, and faithfully served for 38 years, alongside her husband, in the Virginia United Methodist Conference. Survivors include her sister, Vivian Menzies, of Prince George; daughter, Lynette Doyle and husband, Robert, of Prince George; two sons, Blaine Guldenschuh and wife, Shirley of Prospect Hill, North Carolina, and Jon Guldenschuh and wife, Karen of Beaverdam; eight grandchildren, Jennifer Vincent, Scott Doyle, Mianna Guldenschuh, Eugene Chaffin, Eric Guldenschuh, Amanda Harris, Austin Bires, Lori Rose; and seven great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, with the Reverend Joe Shoop officiating. The family will be receiving friends an hour prior to the service, from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 in Rankin United Methodist Church Cemetery, 835 Howardsville Turnpike, Stuarts Draft, Virginia 24477.
