Katherine King

Katherine (Tiny) Wilkerson King, 91, of Colonial Heights, died Sunday, May 11, 2008 at the Colonial Heights Health Care Center. She was the daughter of the late Ernest L. and Myrtie B. Wilkerson. Mrs. King was preceded in death by her husband, Preston Granville King; son, Kenneth G. King; and sister, Hazel W. Young. She is survived by a sister; Lois W. Biggs, and husband, John of Petersburg; a daughter in-law, Janet M. King of Midlothian; granddaughters, Tracey King Szakal and husband, Tom of Warner Robins, Georgia, Katherine King Suddarth, and husband Kevin of Midlothian; great grandchildren, Nicholas, Katie, Nathan and Elena Szakal, Coleman and Cameron Suddarth; and a niece, nephew and cousins. A graveside service will take place 11:00 a.m. Wednesday May 14, 2008 in Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg, with the Rev. Dr. Joseph L. Lewis officiating. The family will receive friends at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard on Tuesday May 13, 2008 from 7-8:30 pm.
