Katherine Lee "Snooks" McCormick, 75, of Dinwiddie, passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2012. She was the daughter of the late Freddie Lee. and Louise R. Nanny Lewis. Mrs. McCormick retired as an Inspector with the Brown and Williamson Tobacco Company. She is survived by her loving husband, William Joseph "Billy" McCormick; son, Larry Joseph McCormick Sr. and wife, Mary McCormick; daughter, Linda Fay Lewis and husband, Kevin "Sug" Lewis all of Dinwiddie; five grandchildren, Christy Hayes, Jennifer Ann Lewis, Amanda Jones, Larry Joseph McCormick Jr., and Jessica McCormick; nine great-grandchildren; brothers, Harold Lee Lewis, William Freddy Lewis, George Edward Lewis; sisters, Mary Rebecca McCormick and Barbara Jean Reese all of Dinwiddie; numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 1, 2012 at the Petersburg Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory 3935 S. Crater Road with the Reverend Robert L. Rowland officiating. Interment Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends Thursday 7:00-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home in Petersburg.
