Katherine Spivey

Katherine Johnson Spivey, 87, of S. Prince George passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2022. Born February 14, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Gary and Gerty Johnson, and was also preceded in death by her son, Timothy R. Spivey; brother, Gary Johnson, Jr.; and sisters, Joann Norris and Mary Lou Parsons.

She was a longtime member of Woodlawn Baptist Church and retired from America Filtrona after many years of dedicated service.

She is survived by her husband, Billy Ray Spivey; son, Gary S. Spivey; grandson, Michael Spivey; and other extended family members.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 9, 2022 in Southlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday night, June 8, 2022 at the Crater Road Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 3935 S.
