Katherine Wimbrow

Katherine Martin Wimbrow, 93, formerly of Petersburg, Virginia died on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at the Amelia Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the daughter of the late Edward A. and Cora Davis Martin, and was preceded in death by her husbands, Jason Winn and Edgar M. Wimbrow. Mrs. Wimbrow was a member of Washington Street United Methodist Church, Petersburg, and a retired Nurse for Brown & Williamson Tobacco Co. She is survived by a half-brother, Edward Martin of Louisiana; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 17, 2011 in the Petersburg Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 3935 S. Crater Road with the Rev. Gina DeJesus officiating. Entombment to follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:00 p.m. Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home.
