Kathleen Speitel

Kathleen Elaine Speitel 60, of Prince George, died Thursday May 20, 2010 at the Medical College of Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Marvin Bennett. Ms. Speitel was a retired administrative assistant at Fort Lee. She attended Second Presbyterian Church in Petersburg. Ms Speitel is survived by her mother Dorothy Vanschoick and Step father Rev. Theodore Vanschoick of Jersey Shore Pa., two daughters Kelly E. Dirocco and husband Tony of Virginia, Brenda A. Thacker and husband Captain Anthony Thacker of Prince George, three grandchildren Janis, Olivia and Nyah, one brother Douglas Bennett of New Jersey. A memorial service will take place 2:00 p.m. Tuesday May 25, 2010 at Second Presbyterian Church 419 W. Washington Street Petersburg, Virginia 23803 with the Rev. Dr. Daniel E. Hale officiating. Interment Private. The family will receive friends Monday May 24, 2010 from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Home and Crematory 2033 Boulevard, 23834.
