Kathryn Belcher

Kathryn Holt Belcher, 100, of N. Chesterfield, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2015. Born in Phenix, Virginia she was the daughter of the late Leslie T. and Mary Harvey Holt. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Perry Belcher, a son, Ernest Wayne Belcher, five brothers, and one sister. Mrs. Belcher was a member of Colonial Christian Church. She is survived by three children, Martha Hopp of N. Chesterfield, Wendell "Tiny" Belcher (Kitty) of N. Chesterfield, and Mary Kathryn Eades (Donnie) of Kentucky; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend Alan Little officiating. Burial will be held in Grandview Memory Gardens, Bluefield, Virginia. The family will receive friends from 12 to 1:00 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service at the funeral home.
