Katye George

Katye McLeod George, 84, of Colonial Heights died Tuesday, July 22, 2008 in Southside Regional Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late John William and Genevieve Smith McLeod. Mrs. George was a member of Swift Creek Baptist Church, and retired from Ft. Lee as a civil service employee. She is survived by her husband, Lawrence Eugene George; and daughter, Linda Carol George. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 25, 2008 in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester with the Reverend Dr. Stephen Felker officiating. Arrangements by the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
