Kay Erwin

Kay Walker Erwin, age 62, left this world to be with her Lord on Tuesday, December 3, 2013. Kay was an educator and administrator in the Chesterfield County Public School System. She loved her friends, family and the Lord, and was a kind and caring friend to many. Kay was actively involved in the lives of her children. She is survived by her husband, Michael Erwin; a daughter, Ashley McCoy Bennett; a grandson, Emory Douglas Bennett; son-in-law, Samuel Bennett; a step-daughter, Kimberly Erwin Gupton and numerous family and friends. A Celebration of Kay's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 7, 2013 in the Colonial Heights Baptist Church, 17201 Jefferson Davis Highway, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834 with the Reverend Dr. Randall Hahn officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 4240 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, Virginia 23060. Arrangements by the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E.
