Keith Brown

MAJ Keith Irl Brown USA (ret.), 77, of Dinwiddie, passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 after a long illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Edwin Brown and Myrtle Alma Pizel, and a brother, LeDon Edwin Brown. Keith graduated from Wichita State University with a major in Economics. Upon graduation he embarked on his military career. He was a patriotic man and served with honor for 23 years. He was very active and liked restoring vintage Volkswagens. He could fix or build anything he wanted. He enjoyed traveling the world during his career. He is survived by his devoted wife of 56 years, Jeannine R. Brown. Many thanks to the caring staff at Dunlop House for their kindness and the care they gave him. A special thanks to his steadfast caregiver, Sherrie Shelton, for her devotion of many years to his care. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 29, 2014 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
