Keith Lemire

Keith Dean LeMire, 48, of Prince George, passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2012. He is survived by his wife, Ann Banks LeMire; his children, Kristin J. LeMire, and Justin D. LeMire all of Prince George; his parents, Arthur J. and Joyce M. LeMire of Hopewell; a brother, Christopher D. LeMire and wife, Judy of Petersburg; a sister, Cheri A. Pratt and husband, Kevin of Chester; grandmother, Gertrude Bentz of Hopewell; sister-in-law, Charlotte Banks Hamby and husband, Bill of Disputanta; nieces, Rachael Pratt and Lindsay Fetko; nephews, Joshua Pratt and Johnathan Hamby; special friends, Robert and Tammy Martin, Bernard and Diana Clark and extended friends at Verizon and BB&T. He was currently employed with Verizon as a Communications Technician. He served in the United States Coast Guard. He was a member of the Men's Auxiliary VFW Post #637 in Hopewell, a former member of the Petersburg American Legion Post #2, and the Hopewell Hunt Club. He had a love for kayaking with his GT Club, and fishing at his beach house. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the Petersburg Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 3935 S. Crater Road. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 5216, Glen Allen, Virginia 23058-5216.
