Keith Wilkerson

Keith Micheal Wilkerson, 66, of Chester passed away on Monday, September 19, 2022. Born in Petersburg, Virginia on June 2, 1956, he was the son of Joyce Stark Wilkerson and the late Robert “Mike” Wilkerson.

Keith was a member of The Heights Baptist Church, where he was a part of the Rock Solid Life Group. For 36 years, he worked for the family interior design business, Mike Wilkerson, Inc., alongside his mother, father, and brother. He then worked for u-fab interiors as an upholsterer for 9 years.

As a professional artist, he enjoyed creating many different pieces from Civil War paintings, to railroad, other architecture, and everything in between. He enjoyed studying genealogy, and his most cherished activity was spending time with his family, especially his beloved grandchildren.

He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 41 years, Sharon DeLynn Wilkerson; two daughters, Lindsay DeLynn Mills and husband, Tommy, Kelly Marie Pfost and husband, Jimmy; three grandchildren, Connor Mills, Colton Pfost, Emma Mills; mother, Joyce Stark Wilkerson; brother, Brian Wilkerson and wife, Brenda; numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at The Heights Baptist Church, 17201 US-1, South Chesterfield, VA 23831. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening, September 27, 2022 at The Heights Baptist Church.
