Kenneth Bish Sr.

Our hearts are saddened by the passing of our loving son, husband, father and grandfather Kenny Bish Sr. on Thursday, January 8, 2009. Kenny was born in Petersburg on February 4, 1946 to Blanche A. Bish and Edward Bish Sr. He was a retired truck driver for Wal-Mart Distribution Center. Kenny spent his life devoted to serving his community through the Petersburg Police Department and was a Life Member of Southside Virginia Emergency Crew. Kenny touched many lives and his wonderful sense of humor will be missed by us all. In addition to his mother, Blanche, he is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn Moots Bish; brother, Bubby Bish, and wife Martha; daughter, Crystal R. Bish and her life partner, Alison Maxwell; and son, Kenny Bish Jr. and his wife, Jill; and their mother, Glenda Moody and seven grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 12, 2009 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend Carl Weaver officiating. Interment Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George.
