Kenneth L. Eaton, Jr. “Kenny”, 57, of Chester, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at Chippenham Hospital. He was born on November 17th, 1967. He is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth L. Eaton, Sr. He is survived by his mother, Patricia B. Eaton of Chester, Virginia; his two sisters, Lisa Eaton Battle and Tammy Eaton Lipscomb; nephews, Michael Battle and Ryan Battle; nieces, Shellbi Lipscomb, Sierra Lipscomb and Rylie Battle; and great nephews, Hunter and Tanner Jordan, and Reid Battle.
Kenny was a member of the Local 666. He was formerly employed at Chesterfield County Schools and Rudy L. Hawkins Electrical. Kenny was an avid bowler. He bowled in the Men’s Wednesday Night League at Holiday Bowl in Chester.
Although Kenny did not have any “actual” children, he was always seen with his two furry companions, Shadow and Sampson. They were always by his side. Kenny was a gentle giant who would go out of his way to assist his friends. Kenny was also an organ donor!
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, VA 23834. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, April 18, 2025, at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park in Chester, Virginia. The family will receive family and friends at their home, 3012 Cicero Parkway, Chester, Virginia 23831, following the inurnment.
Flowers are welcome or contributions may be made to the Virginia Heart Association or the A.S.P.C.A., in honor of Kenny.
