Kenneth Laprade

Kenneth Vernon LaPrade Sr., 63, of Prince George, passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at John Randolph Medical Center. He was the son of the late Clarence V. and Hazel Turner LaPrade, and was preceded in death by a sister, Donna Sue Lassiter. He is survived by his children, Kenneth LaPrade Jr. of Chester, Janet Garrett of Dinwiddie, Laura Audino of Chesterfield, and Samuel David LaPrade of Colonial Heights; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Sandra Nesbitt of Prince George; and a brother, Robert LaPrade of Prince George. He will be greatly missed. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2012 in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George, with the Reverend Donald Joyner officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Petersburg Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 3935 S. Crater Road
