Kenneth Southern

Kenneth Lee Southern, 73, went to be with the Lord after losing his battle with Cancer on April 21, 2012. He was preceded in death by his father Charlie Southern. Kenneth was a United States Army Veteran and retired after 27 years of service with Philip Morris Tobacco. He is survived by his wife; of 46 years Vonda Southern; three wonderful children, Diana White, Kenny Southern, Michael Ramey, loving grandchildren; great grandchildren; his mother, Thelma Arrowood; two sisters; and five brothers, three friends, Billy, Wayne and Chuck. A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday April 24, 2012 in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, Virginia. The family will receive friends Monday, April 23, 2012 from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard.
