Kevin Thompson Sr.

Kevin Wade Thompson, Sr., went to be with the Lord on October 5, 2016. He was 56 years old and lived in the Matoaca area all of his life. He was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. Kevin worked with the Virginia State Highway Department when he was young, but most of his life he had his own contracting business helping people with their home repairs and renovations. He enjoyed his life in his own way and always spoke what was on his mind. His children and grandchildren were always first in his life. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Edith Thompson; and a brother, Thomas Henry Stevens. Kevin leaves behind a daughter, Brandy Thompson-Christopher and husband, Daniel "Rob" of Disputanta, and their first child on the way, Gabriella; two sons, Jacob Philip Thompson of Disputanta and Kevin Wade Thompson Jr., and wife Chrystal; two grandsons, Steven Culliton and Kevin Wade "Trip" Thompson III.; brother, Robert Thompson Jr., of Matoaca; sister, Irma Davis of Matoaca; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and close friends. The family will receive friends Sunday, October 9, 2016 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard. Funeral services will be Private.
