Kristopher Richey

Kristopher Shawn Richey, 52, of Colonial Heights passed away Sunday, March 10, 2019. Mr. Richey served his country as a Private First Class in the United States Army and was an MBCI, small parts machinist. He was a musician all his life and enjoyed archaeology and fossil hunting. He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Melvin Richey. He is survived by his daughter, Sabrina Richey; mother, Greta Joyner Richey; sister, Kimra Vaughan (Timothy); brothers, Kollin Richey and Kevin Richey (Darlene); and nieces, Rebekah Pilout (Trevor), Rachel Estes (Bryan), Kaelie Richey, Abigail Richey, and Elyse Richey. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery, 19312 Templeton Road, Carson, Virginia 23830.
