Kyle Samuel Whitley

Kyle Samuel Whitley, 37, of Disputanta passed away on Monday, October 7, 2024. Born October 9, 1986, he was the son of Timothy James Whitley and the late Louise Marie Whitley, who passed in April 2023. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Travis Lee Whitley.

A fisherman through and through, Kyle didn’t need to catch anything to be content—just the act of dropping a line was enough. He fished in every lake, river, and creek he could find, finding peace by the water.

He is survived by his father, Timothy James Whitley; aunt, Janet Lammey; sister-in-law, Tori Belvin; beloved nephew, Conner Baxter Whitley; cherished niece, June Benoit Gupton; and numerous extended family members.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 in Southlawn Memorial Park, 1911 Birdsong Road, S. Prince George, Virginia 23805, where he will be laid to rest with his mother. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Crater Road Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 3935 S.
