Lake Anderson

Lake V. Anderson, 84, of Chesterfield County, formerly a longtime resident of Colonial Heights, passed away on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at Chippenham Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Maude Conner Dunn, the widow of Pierce J. Anderson, and was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Whitt, and a brother, Jessie White. Mrs. Anderson was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Beverly A. Burrows and husband, Dennis A. of Chesterfield; a grandson, Erik Burrows of Jacksonville, Florida; three nieces and three nephews residing in West Virginia and Ohio. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 18, 2010 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend Fred Adkins officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
