Lance Mortimer

Lance Ernest Mortimer, 69, of Colonial Heights, died Monday, December 26, 2016, at his residence. He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Phyllis Mortimer. He is survived by two children, Neala Mortimer and Nikki McKinney; and two grandchildren, Daniel and Samantha McKinney. Lance retired from Chesterfield County after 30 years of service. Neala and Nikki wish to express a special thank you to Intrepid Hospice for their exceptional care and to Mark and Nicole Langowski for their unwavering support during their father's illness. A graveside funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 30, 2016 at Sunset Memorial Park, Chester with Pastor Gene Ballance officiating. Arrangements by the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
