Lani Jo Davis

Lani Jo Davis, 63, of South Chesterfield, VA, passed away on Thursday, February 29, 2024. Born in New York on September 13, 1960, she was the daughter of Wilbur and Delores Joyner. 

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughters, Rachel Stevens (Matthew), and Lisa Crist (David); her son, Sean Davis; grandchildren, Sawyer, Mason, Easton, and Charlie; brothers, Dave Zammett, John Zammett, and Doug Zammett; sister-in-law, Roxanna Davis; and sisters, Loretta, Debbie, and Charlotte. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Jeffery Davis; grandparents, Helen and Oliver Wilcox; mother and father-in-law, Betty and Joe Cole; brother, Jerry Zammett; and brothers-in-law, Greg and Sammy Davis. 

Lani was a registered nurse for over 30 dedicated years. She worked as the night shift nursing supervisor for 26 years at Lucy Corr. She also loved collecting figurines, traveling, The Wizard of Oz, Stephen King novels, the Redskins, watching movies, and The Beatles. She also adored her family and enjoyed spending time with them, and she will be missed immensely.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 4, 2024, in East Matoaca Cemetery, 21688 Memorial Avenue, Matoaca, VA 23803. Arrangements are by the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E.
