Larry Jones

Mr. Larry Darnell Jones, 67, of Chester, Virginia passed away from this life to his heavenly reward on Saturday, March 12, 2022. He was born in Petersburg, Virginia to Herbert Jones, Sr. and Ruth Taylor Jones (deceased). Larry was a master electrician and craftsman at Phillip Morris Tobacco Company in Richmond, Virginia, retiring in 2020 His greatest passions were ministering the gospel of Jesus Christ on Facebook Livestream “Wordwalkers” with his wife, Lisa, and assisting with their business, LaBelle Vibes.

Larry is survived by his wife, Lisa M. Jones; mother of his children. Constance Jones; children. Antoine Darnell, Erica Taylor, Herbert Lamont, Lashawnda Mone; grandchildren, Eric Taylor, Tianna Jones, Kinnedy and Kassidy Clayton, McKenzie, Madison and M’Kayla Jones; siblings, Deborah Montgomery, Gail Weaver, Michael Jones, Leavell (Rick) Jones, Barbara McZell, Herbert Lee Jones, Jr. (deceased); grandmother who raised Larry, Mattie Lee Taylor (deceased); grandfather, Lawrence Taylor; stepchildren, Charis Jones, Levi Collins, Chelsea Collins; and other extended family members.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at the funeral home. Interment will be private. Condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com.
