Larry Luffman

Larry M. Luffman, 66, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at Southside Regional Medical Center. He was born on August 26, 1946 in Granville County, North Carolina to the late Reece Luffman and Etta Marion Redd Luffman and was preceded in death by two brothers, Homer Luffman, who died in infancy, and Franklin Luffman, one sister, Margaret Waggoner, and a nephew, Franklin Luffman Jr. Mr. Luffman was a United States Army Veteran, and a member of the Swift Creek Baptist Church in Colonial Heights. He is survived by two nieces, Tina and Preston Aldridge III of Colonial Heights and Lisa Yager of Chester; a nephew, Kevin Waggoner of Chester; two great-nephews, Preston Aldridge IV and Franklin Aldridge both of Colonial Heights; a sister-in-law, Beatrice Brown of Hopewell; and a brother-in-law, Roy Waggoner of Chester. A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 10, 2013 in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George with the Reverend Dr. Steve Felker officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday January 9, 2013 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
