Larry Whitmore

Larry Wayne Whitmore, 56, of Chesterfield, died Monday, November 2, 2009 at his residence. He was a member of Highland United Methodist Church, and various hunt clubs. Mr. Whitmore is survived by his daughter, Jennifer L. Hegwald and husband, Mark of Colonial Heights; one brother, Lee A. Whitmore and wife, Sarah N. of Midlothian; parents, Joe L. and Jean P. Whitmore of Colonial Heights; two granddaughters, Courtney and Ashley Hegwald of Colonial Heights; partner in life, Betty Louise Best of Colonial Heights; one nephew, Carson Whitmore; one niece, Sydney-Allen Whitmore; and his beloved companions, Sweet-Pea, and Suzi Q. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 6, 2009 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. Interment to follow in Bermuda Memorial Park, Enon. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
