Laura was a true friend and touched the lives of all who knew her, she was strong in her faith that her life was in the hands of the Lord. She was a loving and giving wife, mother, memaw, and great memaw. She loved shopping trips and lunches with her girls. She enjoyed weekly family dinners especially at “the barn” and spending time with her loved ones. She especially loved the conversations she and her great-grandson had together. She enjoyed the Tuesday card-playing days and cherished the time spent with her friends. She also loved having the Teas that her special friends enjoyed; Pat Rose, Pat Donnelly, Nita, Cheryl, Joanne, Marsha, Renie, Dee, Cathy, Lesta, Bobby, Jimmy, and Sandra. She was an extraordinary friend and advocate with “a heart as big as the outdoors”. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her, and while our hearts mourn the loss, we take comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering.
