Lawrence "Larry" Bigelow, 66, of S. Chesterfield, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 13, 2018. Born on April 1, 1952 in Hudson, New York, he was the son of the late Levi Bigelow Sr. and Gertrude Brown Bigelow, and the widower of Eileen Crowder Bigelow. He is survived by his children, Robert Verdini and Linda Prince; three grandchildren, Melissa, Leah and Ryan; brother, Leonard Bigelow; sister, Edith Pendyke; and many other loving relatives and friends. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Blandford Cemetery, 319 S. Crater Road, Petersburg, Virginia 23803. Arrangements by the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834. Condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com.
