Lawrence Wiencek Jr.

Lawrence Paul Wiencek Jr., 60, of Prince George passed away Saturday, December 4, 2010 at St. Mary's Hospital. He was preceded in death by his father Lawrence Paul Wiencek Sr. Mr. Wiencek was a retired Sergeant Major with the United States Army and was the Director of Environmental Care at Southside Virginia Training Center; he also was a member of American Canadian Grand Lodge # 829. Lawrence is survived by his wife, Carole Doris; a daughter, Cheryl Brockwell and husband, Glynn of Dinwiddie; a son, Lawrence P Wiencek III and wife, Jessica of Petersburg; mother, Elizabeth Wiencek of Mass.; two sisters, Laureen Bell and Carol Chiodo; and special friends, John and Judy Blair. A memorial service will be held 2 :00 p.m. Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard 23834 with Fr. Lou Rouff officiating. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers contrbutions may be made to National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation 3962 S.
