Lee Bunting

Lee Roy Bunting, 78, of Hopewell, died Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at St. Francis Medical Center. He was the son of the late Gary and Emma Whitaker Bunting, and the widower of Mary Marlene Bunting. Mr. Bunting is survived by two sons, Roy Lee Bunting and wife, Barbara of Frisco, North Carolina, and Bobby Gene Bunting of Richmond; two daughters, Brenda B. Sylva and husband, Gene of Hopewell, and Violet Starr Jones of Richmond; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Hilda Pope and Mary Williams both of North Carolina; one niece and one nephew. A funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 22, 2010 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend David Prather officiating. Interment Bermuda Memorial Park Enon, Virginia. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 21, 2010 from 3:00-4:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
