Lena Bowles

Lena Eunice Bowles, 75, of Colonial Heights, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2013. She was born December 2, 1937 in Hopewell, Virginia to the late William H. and Mary E. Womack Belcher. Mrs. Bowles is survived by her husband, David Thomas Bowles; children, Diane Mann, (Keith Powell), Deborah Sanford (John Marshall), Darryl Bowles, Duane Bowles (Terry), Dana Procise (Elvis Keffer), Donita Higgins (Tommy); grandchildren, Melissa Smart (Chris), Amanda Bartholomew (Michael), Jodi Sanford, Angela Neville (Josh), Crystal Bowles, Brian Mann, Tiffani Procise, Brandi Morrison (Daryl), Joshua Procise, David Sanford, Dillon Bowles, Devon Procise, Mary Bowles, Shane Higgins, Ronnie Bowles and Jessie Higgins; great-grandchildren, Breanna Johnson, Emily Bartholomew, Savannah Bartholomew, Skylar Sanford, Alexis Procise, Cayden Smart, Madison Scantling, Logan Neville, Kyla Smart, Allison Scantling, Brayden Barlow, Joshua Scantling, Conner Smart, Mason Neville, Gavin Procise, Kamryn Morrison and Rhyleigh Scantling; sister, Theresa Shelton; two brothers, Richard and Henry Belcher; sister-in-law, Bettie Bowles. A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 16, 2013 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend William Laun officiating. Interment to follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
