Lena Gough

Lena Carter Gough, 92, of Chesterfield, passed away on Friday, March 19, 2010. She was the daughter of the late Henry D. Carter and Jennie Blankenship Carter and was preceded in death by her husband Frank Gough and a daughter Shirley Jefferson. Mrs. Gough was a member of Sherbourne United Methodist Church and also attended Gateway Baptist Church in Chesterfield. She is survived by daughter, Helen Keeton and husband, Forrest of Chesterfield; son-in-law, David Jefferson of South Carolina: grandchildren, Felicia Smith and husband, Raymond of Chesterfield, Sean Newby and wife Kimberly, of South Carolina; a great-grandchild, Madeline Grace Newby; two sisters, Hazel Pagans and Lois Perdue both of Smith Mount Lake; brother, Sam Carter of Rocky Mount, Virginia, as well as her extended family and church families. A funeral service will be held 11: 00 a.m. Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at Sherbourne United Methodist Church, 2619 Sherbourne Road, Richmond, Virginia 23237, with the Pastor Pamela Culler officiating. Interment, Sunset Memorial Park, Chester. The family will receive friends Monday, March 22, 2010 from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E.
