Lenore Jane Pollard, 81 of South Chesterfield departed this life on Monday, December 4, 2017. Born February 11, 1936 in Cook County, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Irene Mallek and was also preceded in death by a daughter, Lori Fields and husband, Eugene Pollard, both of Chesterfield County, and sister, Patricia Berndt, of Bloomington, IL. She spent the majority of her life in Virginia working in retail management and being a dedicated wife and loving mother. She leaves to cherish her memory, two sons, Russell Pollard (Cathy) and Michael Pollard (Pam), both of Chesterfield, a devoted daughter, Carole Pollard of South Chesterfield, eight grandchildren, Brad Watkins (Mandi), Aften Garr (Tony), Britney Mayton (Deighton), Scott Pollard (Emily), Jordan Pollard (Eric), Natalie Pollard (Connie), and Logan and Rylee Fields, four great-grandchildren, Nathaniel "Nate" and Annalise "Lisey" Garr, O'riya "Boobie" Mayton, and Sadie Pollard, all of Chesterfield County, a brother, Thomas Mallek (Joan) of Northbrook, Illinois, a number of nieces and nephews, a special caregiver, her "favorite guy", Deighton Joe, and a host of special neighbors and loving friends. Lenore was an extraordinary woman who was loved and adored by all who knew her. Her kind spirit and bright smile will live on through her family.
