Leslie Reed

Leslie Aldridge Reed, 63, of Disputanta, passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2008 at HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Petersburg. She was the daughter of the late Robert Leslie Aldridge and was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Merle Dean Reed. She is survived by her son, Brenton vanBreda Reed and wife Chantal of Disputanta; a granddaughter, Tessa Lauren Reed; her mother, Elsie Hargrave Aldridge; three sisters, Donna Anuskiewicz and husband Todd of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Martha Diradour and husband Martin, and Janet Sullivan and husband Jack all of Colonial Heights; a brother, David Aldridge of Beaverdam; nieces, Jessica Trent, Megan Anuskiewicz, Hilary, Sarah and Aubrey Sullivan, and Sydney Aldridge; nephews, Neil Anuskiewicz, Aaron Sullivan, and Stuart Aldridge; father-in-law, Denzel Reed of Prince George; mother-in-law, Jean Reed of Petersburg; numerous cousins and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, October 9, 2008 in the Petersburg Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 3935 S. Crater Road with the Rev.
