Lester "Chucky" Harrison, 67, of South Chesterfield passed away on Friday, April 28, 2017 at the Medical College of Virginia. Born November 20, 1949 in Colonial Heights, Virginia he was the son of the late Howard Edward Harrison Sr. and Mary Catherine Blankenship Harrison, and was also preceded in death by two brothers, Ronnie and Dink Harrison; and a nephew Mark Harrison. Chucky was a member of Matoaca United Methodist Church and retired from Philip Morris Park 500. He loved the outdoors and was a passionate fan of the Denver Broncos, New York Yankees, Boston Celtics and NASCAR driver, Tony Stewart. Chucky was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Leigh Harrison; two sons, Sean and Dustin Harrison; two daughters, Nicole Harrison, Tara Turner and husband, Shawn; five grandchildren, Taylor Harrison, Skyler Harrison, Cody Harrison, Ethan Turner, Grayson Turner; four brothers, Howard Harrison Jr. and wife, Deolinda, Jerry Harrison and wife, Sandra, Lewis Harrison and wife, Rose, Phillip Harrison and wife Bridgette; three sisters, Betty O' Shields and husband, Ronnie, Carol Paul and husband, Fred, Linda Monger and husband, David; and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George, Virginia, with the Reverend Richard Gordon officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday night, May 2, 2017 from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
