Lewis Richard Chartier

Lewis Richard Chartier, 46, of Colonial Heights passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2024. Born April 11, 1978, he was the son of Richard Norman Chartier and the late Nancy Ellen Jusczyk Burns; and was also preceded in death by his brother, Mark Brian Chartier. 

Lewis was a United States Army veteran. 

He is survived by his wife, Amber Leigh Chartier; daughter, Addison Grace Chartier; son, Logan Richard Chartier; father, Richard N. Chartier; sisters, Michelle Lynn Duggan, Wendy Ann Chartier; brother, Cody Hickenlooper; and other extended family members.

Lewis will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Though we witnessed his struggles, we find comfort in knowing he is now at peace.

A memorial service will be held from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at the VFW Post 637, 1400 Lynchburg Street, Hopewell, Virginia, 23860. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the VFW Post 637.
