Linda Cook

Linda M. Cook-Yanes (Merlo) Linda M. Cook-Yanes of Colonial Heights, VA, formerly of Northampton, PA, passed away at home on August 8, 2016. Born in Easton, PA on July 15, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Dorothy Merlo-Danyluk and Vito Merlo. Linda attended Easton Area High School. She is survived by her spouse, Eugene Yanes of Colonial Heights, VA; her daughter, Lisa Ketcherick and husband, Michael of Easton, PA; her sister, Nancy McNally and husband, William of Phillipsburg, NJ; her brother, Richard Merlo of Hinsdale IL; her grandsons, Joshua Albani and Brendan Ketcherick; and her nieces and nephews. Interment will be private. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK, 73123, or the National Audubon Society.
