Linda George

Linda Carol George, 67, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2015 at Southside Regional Medical Center. Born in Petersburg, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence E. and Katye McLeod George. She was a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy. Ms. George was a former Deputy Clerk in Charge at the U.S. District Court for The Eastern District of Virginia, Richmond Division, and a Legal Secretary both before and after her tenure at the court. She is survived by several lifelong friends, and her classmates from the Colonial Heights High School Class of 1965. A Graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, 2015, in Sunset Memorial Park, 2901 W. Hundred Road, Chester, Virginia 23831 with the Reverend Steve Felker officiating.
