Linda Hoffman

Linda Rose Jackson Hoffman, 66, of Chesterfield, passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2010. She was the daughter of the late Claude and Florence Highsmith Jackson, and was preceded in death by her brother, James Jackson. Mrs. Hoffman was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, and a retired Teacher at Matoaca Baptist Child Care Development Center. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Lewis L. Hoffman; children, Erica Turner and husband, John of Dinwiddie, and Sarah Elizabeth Hoffman of Chesterfield; grandchildren, Michael Coleman II, Allison Coleman, Joshua Coleman, Daphney Turner, Brittany Jacobs, Shane Elder, and Matthew Elder; one great-grandson. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 17, 2010 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, with the Reverend Wayne Lowe officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
