Linda Moore

Linda Susan Moore, 68, of Chester, passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2019. Born in Petersburg on November 8, 1950, she was the daughter of the late William O. Moore Sr. and Margaret Lilly Moore, and was preceded in death by two brothers, Michael John Moore and William Osbourne Moore Jr. Mrs. Moore was a retired Medical Transcriber from CJW Medical Center. She is survived by two daughters, Christy S. Tranka (Timothy) and Jennifer K. Lukowsky (Karl); a grandson, Matthew De Rosa; devoted friend and companion, Charles E. Puckett; and numerous nieces & nephews. A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Southlawn Memorial Park, 1911 Birdsong Road, S. Prince George, Virginia 23805. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834. Flowers are welcome or contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
