Linda Carol Sirles

Our sweet angel, Linda Carol Sirles, returned peacefully to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, February 18, 2024. Linda was born July 5, 1939, in Hopewell, Virginia. She graduated from Thomas Dale High School and married her sweetheart, Melvin Sirles, to whom she has been married 66 years. She devoted her life to her family and her friends – who were family to her. She was happiest surrounded by the ones she loved and gave generously all her life whenever someone had a need. She loved to sing, to sew, to decorate and to make delicious meals for her family.  Linda was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints and departed this life knowing that her Savior, Jesus Christ; her Heavenly Father; and many cherished friends and family, were waiting to embrace her.  She was predeceased by her parents, Clarence and Inez Martin. She is survived by her devoted husband, Melvin; her sister, Jane and brother-in-law, Frank; her son, Steve; her daughters, Anita (Cliff) and Wendy (Deo);  her grandchildren, Connie (J.J.), Curtis (Cate), Kristin (Robert), Elias, Nicholas, Maya and Mikayla; her great-grandchildren, Lexi, Julie, Lily, Ava, Landon, Logan, Zoe, Trey and Elijah; her great-great- grandson, Zay; her nieces and nephews, Bryan (Coleen) Lisa, Darren (Savannah); and other devoted friends and family including Cecilia (Donnie); Alicia, and Kaye .  We miss her with all of our hearts, but we will be with her again.  A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 26, 2024 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, 3541 Cogbill Road, North Chesterfield, VA 23234. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Monday from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the church.
