Linwood Leigh

Linwood Edward "Sonney" Leigh Sr., 80, of Chesterfield, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2009. He was the son of the late Linwood A. and Mary Webster Leigh. He was a member of the Colonial Heights American Legion Post 284, a past Master and over fifty year member of the Masons, and an active Shriner Survivors include his wife of fifty-three years, Pauline W. Leigh; a daughter, Wanda L. Mann and husband, Bruce of Lancaster, Ohio; a son, Linwood E. Leigh Jr. and wife, Karin of Chesterfield; two grandchildren, Kandace M. Bletzacker, and husband, Heath of Ohio, and Brittany S. Mann of Ohio; a sister, Carrie L. Perkinson of Colonial Heights, and half sister, Linda L. Iselin of Petersburg. A Memorial American Legion service will be held 7:00 p.m. Friday, May 29, 2009 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with visitation to follow.
