Lisa Marie Clay Alascio, 41, of Chesterfield, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 1, 2012 surrounded by her family. She was a member of Colonial Height Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, William H. and Leora Clay. Lisa is survived by her husband, Samuel S. Alascio Jr.; her children, Hunter Ford Alascio and Rhiannon Nikole Alascio; mother, Joan B. Clay and stepfather, Steven Courson; father, James M. Clay; mother and father-in-law, Patricia A. and Samuel S. Alascio Sr.; maternal grandparents, Jewel and John Barger; great-grandmother, Nellie J. Shook; sister-in-law, Patricia McGrath and husband, Anthony; nephew, Dakota; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, October 4, 2012 in Colonial Heights Baptist Church, 17201 Jefferson Davis Highway, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834 with the Reverend Dr. Randall Hahn officiating.
