Liston Hyman

Liston "J.R." Hyman, 64, of Palmer Springs, passed away Monday, July 28, 2014 at the Medical College of Virginia. He is survived by his wife, Janice Connelly Hyman; daughters, Jenny D. Maddox and husband, Edward of Colonial Heights, Brandy R. Bishop and husband, Steven of Alberta; grandchildren, David "Trey" Cabaniss III, Joshua D. Cabaniss, Jonathan Cabaniss, Kaitlin A. Cabaniss, Andrew J. Maddox, Brittany M. Maddox, Jazmine C. Maddox; great-granddaughter Mahkenzi D. Maddox; two sisters, Judy Ann Walker and husband, Larry of Chester, Jeannette Hyman of Virginia, and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 12:00 noon Friday, August 1, 2014 in the Hyman Family Cemetery, 142 Rock Church Lane, Boydton, Virginia 23917. The family will receive friend Thursday, July 31, 2014 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard.
