L.M. Gravitte Jr.

L. M. "Mickie" Gravitte Jr., 51, of Matoaca, died Sunday, July 25, 2010 at MCV Hospital, Richmond. He was preceded in death by his father, L. M. Gravitte Sr. Mickie was the Vice President of Gravitte's Cabinet Shop. He is survived by his wife, Lynn Potts Gravitte; a step-daughter, Robin Lynn Warren of Dinwiddie; two grandchildren, Kaydence and Preston Sebera; his mother, Lucille C. Gravitte of Chester; his brother and sister-in-law, Richard E. "Ricky" and Lisa Gravitte of Chester; his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Lee and Darian Smith of Dinwiddie; two nephews, James Ryan Gravitte of Chester and Corey Smith of Dinwiddie; a niece, Elizabeth Madison Gravitte of Chester; and his mother-in-law, Justine Potts of Dinwiddie. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, 2010 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend Rick Geoghegan officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
