Logan Ryan Pearce, 36, of Colonial Heights passed away on Monday, December 25, 2023 at his residence. Born March 9, 1987, he was the son of Milford Glynn Pearce, Jr. and the late Nancy Beasley Pearce.
Logan's love for sports, particularly golf, fishing, and soccer, was a defining aspect of his character. Whether he was on the golf course, casting a line into the vast ocean, or simply sharing stories about his latest adventure, Logan's eyes lit up with joy and enthusiasm. His connection to sports was his source of solace and inspiration for all who were fortunate enough to share those moments with him.
More than a sports enthusiast, Logan was known for his gentle spirit and his unwavering commitment to kindness. He approached life with an open heart, treating everyone he encountered with respect. Logan's genuine smile and approachable nature made him a friend to all, and he never harbored ill will towards anyone. In a world often characterized by discord, Logan's ability to unite people through his kindness was a rare and beautiful gift.
In the memories we share of Logan, we celebrate the joy he brought into our lives, the love he freely gave, and the legacy of kindness he leaves behind. Though his time with us was cut short, the impact of his spirit will endure in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Logan is survived by his father, Milford Glynn Pearce and his wife, Lana; uncles, Rodney Pearce and wife, Katherine, David Beasley and wife, Carol; aunts, Susan Basl, Patricia Smith, Donna Jarvis and husband, David, Janet Janosik and husband, Mickey; many cousins, extended family members and countless beloved friends. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Logan's cherished cousins, Danielle Basl and Blakely Beach, for their unwavering love and steadfast support that enriched Logan's life.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 5, 2024 in Southlawn Memorial Park, 1911 Birdsong Road, S. Prince George, Virginia 23805.
