Lois F. Jordan, 78, of Colonial Heights, passed away Saturday, February 26, 2010. She was a native of Prince George County, was the daughter of the late Charles B. and Helen Johnson Funk and the widow of Alfred E. Jordan. Mrs. Jordan was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church where she sung in the choir, was past President of the Colonial Heights Opti-Mrs Club and former Chairwoman of the Miss Bib Tournament. She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Jordan Comstock and husband, Greg of Chester; grandchildren, Travis Wade Ponton of Chester, Tyler Keith Ponton of Chester; sister, Jean F. Wood and husband, Buddy of Petersburg; two special nieces, Dawn Wood Shepherd and Lynne Wood Vaughan; one great nephew; three great nieces; three nephews; one niece; and numerous cousins. A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at Immanuel Baptist Church, 620 Lafayette Avenue, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834 with the Reverend Fred Adkins and the Reverend Steve Lalk officiating. Interment St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 1, 2011 from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E.
